Jean-Marie is a professional translator and certified interpreter, based in Rome since 1985, where he was the head of his own translation agency for 26 years, and has evolved from being a service provider of purely linguistic services to becoming a creator and consultant in linguistic content, for the e-marketing sector.
Very enthusiastic about languages and Web marketing, he is also an optimizer of ‘in-house’ linguistic services, a linguistic auditor of already localized web sites, a marketing & branding coach and a storytelling consultant for freelancers, as well as the author of over 1,000 blog entries via Adscriptor and Translation 2.0 on the Internet and major Web actors.
He recently decided after 35 years spent living in Italy to return to France to start an original business venture with his good friend Iain Whyte. The two have made use of their shared 60 years of experience and more to launch this exciting new project: Glocalyze.
